Over 100 charities and not-for-profit community organisations support us

Bookdonors collects tonnes of unwanted books from over 100 charities & not-for-profit groups and over 40 Library services. As Part of our social enterprise, these are our book supplying stakeholders.

Our inclusive team systematically processes all books at our warehouse in Selkirk. The books are then listed online with the two largest used-book internet sites - Abebooks and Amazon. We currently have over 154,000 books listed!

What Bookdonors gives back

All our book supplying stakeholders receive the equivalent of 25% of our nett internet book sales to increase their fund-raising so they can help more of their clients. The remaining 75% goes towards Bookdonors' own community work.

In our first year, we gave £2,950

In our second year, we gave £18,960

In our third year, we gave £39,750

In our forth year, we gave £94,902

...and in our first quarter of 2010 we have already given £32,472.

Since starting in October 2005, we have given £189,034.
